ok!the wait has ended.but i m sorry to say it ended rather gloomily.DON is a good movie and a must for a movie buff but it didnt live upto my expectations.this movie would have been a lull unless its climax wouldnt have been updated.first half was a mere copy of the original.dialogues were repeated and sequence were expected.that made the movie boring and sluggish.ou OK.the energy of SRK and the brilliance of Farhan saved the movie.however how hard SRK tried,he couldnt be BIG B afterall.

well i liked the movie very much though i agree srk's bihari style is not gud but his devil act as don was awesome especiallly the first scene. the twists are real gud but to think tht there wud hav been sumthin new is not correct farhan is remaking the film not correcting it so it is but aways tht dialouges wud match scenes wud match though i must say tht the scene when roma tries to escape don is gr8 and the one were don escapes from the plane simply superb the action sequences are really awesome and mid air one is really superb. i agree tht om puri has not got any scope but sum one who wud hav been less known wud hav hammered the charachter isha koppikar also does had a small charachter but farhan might hav taken her thinking of the sequel if it's on the way boman irani stands tall he has excelled the role in every aspects and it proves to be his best if u loved him in munna bhai u wud get crazy in don arjun rampal enacts his part well people say his role is very samll i say they hav not seen the original don pran's role was also not big original don also had big b overshadowing other roles.the cinematography was just breathtaking. in short too gud movie and fab twists wud wait for sequels. as per acting Srk -9 the i wud hav give 9.5 if he wud have done the vijay act better priyanka - 8 boman- 8.5 om puri 7.5 didn't got much scope arjun 7.5 for a change chunky 7 louked gud kareena 7 luked hot but a bit over weight

BUT AFTER WATCHING THIS MOVIE I AM HIS BIGGEST FAN . SO GO FOR IT NOW AND ENJOY. NO ONE CAN WATCH IT JUST ONCE

Well, if you listen to Taran Adarsh, you might well go and watch JAAN-E-MANN preferring it over DON. But I clearly advise my colleagues to go and watch DON and enjoy it. Taran has remarked that DON is slow paced. Common man, anyone who has watched DON (except those who criticize Shah Rukh for nothing) will find the movie racy, amusing and exciting. And how dare Taran reveal the secret of Boman Irani’s character. It is one of the mainstay of the movie. The only thing he said correct was Shah Rukh not impressing as Vijay. However it’s not his fault, the look doesn’t come naturally to him. Whatever, one can’t imagine any other actor except him performing the role. I watched both DON (1st show) and JAAN-E-MANN (2nd show) and believe me, people were glued to the screen for the whole show during DON but were leaving 15 minutes before JAAN-E-MANN ended. So, I just advise the public to go and watch DON without caring about the reviews.

I watched DON here in London last night(Thursday). Only few cinemas were showing Thursday…  

I watched DON here in London last night(Thursday). Only few cinemas were showing Thursday premieres. The film releases all over UK today. Yes I would say that the orginal DON was one of the best films of all time. The new DON struggles to match to the old one. Shahrukh Khan looks good and acted well. He does very well as DON. Priyanka looks stunning and carries her part well. Arjun Rampal and Isha Koppikar are ok. Kareena looks awesome in the song. Locations (Malaysia and Paris) are well exposed. Stunts have been done very well. But it moves at a sluggish pace at regular intervals and gets a bit boring at some points. Overall its worth watching. The hype and marketing of the film and yes ofcourse Shahrukh Khan will make the distributors happy in this festive season of Diwali and Eid.

The original Don was an out and out entertainer and this one is a worse "Paheli - jise Jaldi Alwida Kehna Chahiye" from the wanna be "King Khan" and as he says that he is the, "only Khan besides Genghis Khan" NOT! Don in 1978 was a mega Hit Don 2006 is a DUD - Crap - horrid Shah Rukh Khan is its biggest draw back. He walks funny thinking in his mind he is walking like he is all that- Not! He is not DON and nor he is Vijay. He is plain and simple BAD in both roles and the lines he delivers are worse. Then the supporting cast is all out of place and running around like chicken without their heads and this disaster of a movie just does not give up till it out matches its stupidity of an existence and it breaks all barriers when it reached Kareena's dance number - sucks! BIG TIME! If you have $8.00 and 3 hrs extra go to Viks chat corner and Berkeley and get something delicious to eat... You will not regret it or just go to the waterfront and watch the sun set because this DON and KANK mean the sun is fast setting for Mr. Khan

Firstly I would like to give the critic who reviewed DON some food for thought. He said there were flaws like if DONS gun was not loaded how did he kill Kareena, how about breaking her neck my clever critic. I bet that never crossed your mind. The movie leaves alot for you to decide. I dont think our critic was that clever. Now to the movie. I thought it was a very good movie, its was very well shot and executed. What kept me intrested in the movie was the slight changes to the story line,but for someone who has seen the original its quite fresh as your expecting something and you get someting else. The action was very cool, very Hong Kong. I personally liked the songs in the movie. SRK to my surprise pulled the role off very well, I will be honest I did not think he will be able to pull it off but he does in his own way. Finally the breaker for this movie is the final twist. You really dont see it and therefore its the icing on the cake making sure you leave the theatre with a smile. Go and watch DON its fresh, if nothing else it will make you want to move to Malaysia.
