A good script. Nothing overboard. Everything in limits. Natural/Realistic look. Different perspectives - Coach's Point of View, Players' Points of Views, The game's (Hockey) Point of View. V worship all these cricketers as Gods who ultimately disappoints us. Its high time v change our thinking and start focussing on other sports too. India needs that very badly especially the big country it is. The movie makes its point. I guess, the media and the public watching this movie will follow suit. Performances...Everybody was superb. SRK and all the galz...whatta combination. SRK is full of grace, energy, confidence and spontaneous. The galz have done their bits well. I liked the punjabi gal who always gets irked (angry) when something goes wrong and will cool down only after drinking a bottle of water. Hilarious when she advises her mom to do the same in the final scene. Overall, a must watch for everyone. SRK shud continue doing roles like this in the future. Raj and Rahul were fantastic. But SRK in his 40s is better off being Mohan Bhargava, Kabir Khan...

Chak de India amazing movie
i went for the movie only coz its SRK movie and it gave me more than i expected. I related with every moment of the movie. being a girl n as an individual i really apreciate the message the movie conveyed. I went to see SRK in Chakde India n Came back with Kabir Khan the most inspiring Character after Mohan Bhargav in Swades. The Girls were amazing and even the other characters.
Last but not the least only Big banners like Yash Raj can give that kind of look to a sport movie.

Exceptional movie start to finish. SRK delivers another brilliant performance. Very subdued yet powerful in every action and dialogue, reminiscent of his performance in Swades. I can't imagine another actor doing such immense justice to the character of Kabir Khan. For those people who still complain that SRK needs to do something different, they should be the first to line up to see this movie. Everything from direction, to cinematography, to screenplay, to performances are the merits of this film. Although a sports-theme has been done in the past, CDI has explored women's hockey in a different fashion, in that it is much more than a sports movie. It's a movie about humanism, racism, sexism, patriotism, rejection, devotion, ambition, and ultimately...unity. Keeps you hooked and has immense entertainment value all while teaching you a thing or two. The girls are perfect in their respective roles, and you feel like you're watching their real lives rather than reel lives. Definetly a breath of fresh air amidst the movies that have recently been released which involve more flashy trash rather than substance. We're a smart audience, we deserve smart movies...and luckily we now have Chak De India.

I heve seen movie yesterday. Chak De, India is by far the most authentic, meticulously researched sports movie India has made.stand out from the Yashraj clutter this year, is its ability to keep the tracks undiluted. None of the girls breaks into song and dance, and no one is allowed to show skin...This is SRK in realistic mode again, after Swades.
Still, it is a brave role, executed with finesse, minus starry flourish. And some of the girls spark into life in the best moments in the film: especially the tiny Haryanvi spitfire, the Punjabi lass who lets fly in anger at the drop of a hockey stick, and the pretty thing from Chandigarh who wants to show her cricketing boyfriend just who the real star is.
