What an over hyped film! How did this film break so many records I don't understand and how did Taran Adarsh give it such a high rating? The story line is dull, the comedy is appalling, Salman's ringtone is annoying and the songs aren't appealing except for one! Overall I am not impressed in any way.

Was expecting a total action movie with love story but it's a soft love story with some great action. Its a simple straight movie which makes it high with superb last 30 minutes. Direction of the movie is very good by Siddique. Good script. good music with TERI MERI the best of the lot with awesome video. Action scenes are superbly executed. First half is good and passes quickly but from the post interval till end movie is great.The climax is the best. One of the best climax u can say.. Bodyguard belongs to SALMAN KHAN. He is great in the movie especially in romantic scenes.. His chemistry with KAREENA KAPOOR is total awesome this time.. KAREENA KAPOOR got a great role after jab we met and has acted very well and looking good in desi avatar. Hazel Keech & Raj Babbar are good. Asrani Ok. Mahesh Manjarekar is good but not as good as in previous films , Chetan good, Aditya Pancholi is very good in special appearance as villian and justifies his presence.. Rajat Rawail is fun.. Katrina Kaif ok in item song. On flip side the JHATKA which Salman gets with each phone ring is unnecessary & first half could have been much better although its good. OVERALL a total PAISA VASOOL movie.. Go For it if even u r not a SALMAN KHAN fan....

Ladies and gentlemen the award for the most overhyped movie of 2011 goes to BODYGUARD. Sorry to say but movie doesn't offer anything at all. Story line is unconvincing, action scenes are just over the top. Only saviour is Salman Khan's innocent acting and Kareena too has given a decent performance. Music is really fine but overall the movie is a letdown. The only thing that saves the movie to some extent is it's climax. But even then it cannot be a substitute for a very poor script.
This movie did well only because of Salman's big fan following among the poor class of the Indian society, which made the film a big hit!!!
Though not out and out a bad movie but has very little substance.
