Yuvraj Singh thinks Ranbir Kapoor could play him in his biopic: “I saw Animal and I thought he was fantastic”

Yuvraj Singh, the cricketer, is set to unveil plans for his biopic, which will showcase his intriguing journey into his illustrious career. The former cricketer reportedly wants actor Ranbir Kapoor to portray him on screen. After watching Animal, the former cricketer thought of Kapoor who could play in the biopic.

Speaking at a press conference recently, Yuvraj Singh said, "Recently, I saw Animal, I thought Ranbir was fantastic. Ranbir was outstanding. It was a very powerful role. When it comes to my film, let's see. It is not my call but will be the director’s call. We’re working on it and I am sure we will have good news soon.”

 

 

 

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, featuring Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri, was released in theaters on December 1, 2023, clashing with Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur. Despite a successful theatrical run with over Rs. 800 crores worldwide, the movie is currently navigating challenges for its OTT release, encountering issues between T-Series and producer Murad Khetani.
