After a solid opening of Rs. 19.72 crores, Ajay Devgn-led Raid 2 has clocked a stronghold in business on Friday as the early estimates are indicating at 2nd day business in the range of Rs. 11.50 crore to Rs. 12.50 crore. With this hold, the Ajay Devgn film is likely to emerge as a hit film.

As expected, Raid 2 is continuing with strong business in Maharashtra and Gujarat, however, in a positive development, North India is also slowly starting to come on board. According to early signs, the North Indian markets are also taking to the content of Raid 2, which means a strong weekend is on cards for this Ajay Devgn film. The Bhushan Kumar and Kumar Mangat production will be aiming to collect Rs. 70 crores over the 4-day period and then enter the Rs. 100 crore club by the end of the second weekend.

 

Raid 2 is a sequel to Raid, and the present trend indicates that the second part too will be a success like the first one. All eyes are on the weekend trend now.
