Karthikeya 2 (Hindi) Box Office: Sets a new record; Lifetime collections are 436 times its opening day

The Telugu film Karthikeya 2 which was released a while back has been doing rather well. The Hindi version of the film which started off on a slow note has been seeing good growth at the box office. After drawing in just Rs. 7 lakhs on its opening day, Karthikeya 2 (Hindi) saw an exponential increase in collections on its second day clocking Rs. 0.28 cr. at the box office. Following this, the third day of business of the film saw a further increase with Rs. 1.10 cr. coming in.

Interestingly, over its first week running, the business of Karthikeya 2 continued to see sustained growth, ending its first week run with a collection of Rs. 5.75 cr. Now after five weeks at the box office, the total collections of Karthikeya 2 (Hindi) at the box office are pegged at Rs. 30.55 cr. With this, the Telugu film seems to have set a new record of sorts. In fact, by the end of its theatrical run, Karthikeya 2 has seen its collections increase exponentially recording 436 times its opening day collections of Rs. 7 lakhs. This exponential increase is something that has to date never been seen at the box office.

 

Currently, Karthikeya 2 still continues to find takes among the audience, with the film continuing to play in select locations.
