De De Pyaar De Box Office Collections: The Ajay Devgn starrer becomes the 6th highest opening week grosser of 2019
The Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu starrer De De Pyaar De released last week. After opening on a good note, the business of the film witnessed good growth over its opening weekend. If that wasn’t enough, the collections of the film continued to remain stable on the ensuing weekdays as well.
In this box office report we take a look at the opening week collections of De De Pyaar De while comparing the same to previous releases of 2019. Collecting Rs. 61.05 cr De De Pyaar De manages to surpass the previous release Student of the Year 2 that had collected Rs. 56.83 cr to become the sixth highest opening week grosser of 2019. Besides this, the business of De De Pyaar De has recorded better collections than certain other releases as well like, Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi that collected Rs. 58.95 cr, Luka Chuppi that collected Rs. 53.7 cr, and Badla that collected Rs. 38 cr.
However, the business of De De Pyaar De does not manage to surpass the business of other releases like Kesari that collected Rs. 105.86 cr, Gully Boy that collected Rs. 100.3 cr, Total Dhamaal that collected Rs. 94.55 cr, Kalank that collected Rs. 73.7 cr, and Uri - The Surgical Strike that collected Rs. 70.94 cr.
As of now, with two new releases hitting screens, expectation are that the business of De De Pyaar De will take a hit. However, predictions state that despite new films hitting screens the Ajay Devgn starrer will continue to draw in the audience.
