Badla Box Office Collections: The Amitabh Bachchan - Taapsee Pannu starrer becomes the 3rd highest second weekend grosser of 2019

The Sujoy Ghosh directed film Badla starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu released a while back. After opening on a decent note the business of the film which received positive reviews has been seeing good growth.

In this box office analysis, we take a look at the second weekend collections of Badla while comparing the same to previous releases of 2019. Collecting Rs. 18.70 cr on its second weekend, Badla has managed to become the third highest second weekend grosser of 2019. Though the business of the film does not manage to surpass previous releases like Uri: The Surgical Strike that collected Rs. 38.22 cr, and Total Dhamaal that collected Rs. 23.22 cr, it has managed to outperform other releases like Gully Boy that collected Rs. 18.05 cr, Manikarnika - The Queen of Jhansi that collected Rs. 14.35 cr, and Luka Chuppi that had collected Rs. 13.66 cr.

 

As of now though Badla continues to run in theatres, it is likely to face stiff competition this coming weekend with the Akshay Kumar starrer Kesari hitting screens. However till then expectations are that Badla will add a bit more to its overall box office collections.
