Merging theatre brilliance with Bollywood is Dilip Prabhavalkar, popular Marathi theatre personality and TV and film actor. After considering various other options director Rajkumar Hirani zeroed down on Prabhavalkar as he has the required versatility to match the character perfectly. Prabhavalkar, too, is all charged up for playing Mahatma.
