Bollywood will be a subject in Leicester

While Bollywood still just remains a source of entertainment in India, it is being more seriously looked at overseas. Bollywood will be studied form a separate subject within a three-year course on film studies at the Leicester University in UK. This is the first attempt of its kind in the world to make an in-depth look into the world of Bollywood. Prior to this, Indian Cinema was studied as a part of the national cinemas section. But now it will be studies as a separate field of study.
