The domestic box-office crashed completely on Friday, hitting an all-time low almost everywhere. Not only did the new releases, NANHE JAISALMER and AGGAR, open to a miserable 10%-15% response [at some places, even lower than that], even the films that have reached the ‘Hit’ status were being screened to almost empty halls.
Reasons: The holy month of Ramzan has commenced and the coming days will see a strong section of movie-going audience staying away from movieplexes. Besides, the India-Pakistan cricket match on Friday added to the film industry’s woes.
