When most of us just dream of fancy cars, here is a kid who has been there and done that. He is none other than Ali Haji. If that name fails to ring a bell, his innocently divine face with lilted eyes face will definitely do the honours. Haji is just 7 years old, but he has to his credit, of having featured in his first movie with none other than Amitabh Bachchan himself in Family, when he was barely was five years old. Even though, there were many who referred him as the great comedian Mehmood’s younger brother, the stark reality remained that the only bond that they shared in common was the flair for comedy and nothing beyond that. In reality, Junior Mehmood was not at all related to the legendary comedian Mehmood at all, for both of them were two different people in actuality. Junior played a small role of an extra in a 1966 film called Suhaag Raat with Mehmood and that is where they first met. Mehmood took to Junior immediately and made him his proverbial ‘shishya’.
