In conversation with Rohit Khilnani, Radhikka Madan talks about her experience working on Lust Stories 3, her story in the anthology and what drew her to the project. She opens up about auditioning for the role, preparing for the character and the process of bringing the story to life with director Shakun Batra.
Radhikka also discusses the intimacy exercises and work with an intimacy coordinator that went into preparing for some of the more intimate scenes, and how she and co-star Ali Fazal gradually became more comfortable with each other through improvisation on set. She talks about the emotional demands of the scenes and the importance of creating a safe and collaborative environment while working on them.
She also reflects on how conversations around lust, sex and intimacy have evolved over the years and how audiences have become more open to discussing these subjects. Radhikka shares what it meant to work with Shakun Batra, a filmmaker she had long wanted to collaborate with, and her reaction to watching her story for the first time alongside the other three films in the anthology.
