Akshay Kumar's Pad Man released in China on Friday and has been off to a slow start. Akshay's Toilet Ek Prem Katha garnered better numbers than Pad Man. While Pad Man garnered 1.52 mil [₹ 10.93 cr] on Day 1 of its release, Toilet Ek Prem Katha had earned 2.35 mn USD on its first day of release. There were about 45,974 showings with 324,659 admissions for Pad Man. It is debatable if the movie will pick up over the weekend. Recently, released Aquaman, My Brother Totoro, The Grinch, Searching, A Cool Fish are other movies in the China market currently.
