The unthinkable has happened. If the start of Baaghi 2 was out of the world, the hold over rest of the weekend has been tremendous as well. This can well be seen from the fact that the mass entertainer has gone ahead and accumulated as good as Rs. 73.10 crore in just three days flat. No one, just no one could have anticipated such numbers coming from the young star Tiger Shroff despite the popularity that he enjoys amongst the youth. Still, audiences across the country seem to have caught fancy to what he has to offer on the big screen and lapped up all the dare devil action that he has performed.
What is further remarkable is the fact that the first in the series, Baaghi, had lifetime collections of Rs. 77 crore and now Baaghi 2 has managed such high numbers in just three days. From this point on even if the film sees a regular fall of 50% on a day by day basis, a massive total is still on the cards.
This isn't all as this Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star film is also one of the last out and out commercial entertainers to be hitting the screens this season. Some of the notable films to follow are Blackmail, October and 102 Not Yet, but again these are not the kind that go on to take the kind of bumper opening that Baaghi 2 has enjoyed.
All of this means that the Ahmed Khan directed film is set to stay in theaters well right through the month of April, hence enjoying a good sustained run. The film is a Superhit in the making and what has to be seen is how big does it eventually turn out to be.
