Successful launch of iDream Independent Pictures

iDream Independent Pictures, a new London based sales agency, made a flying start at the recently concluded AFM with sales of all its slate to major territories. iDream's product line up started with 4 films at the AFM – Kaushik Ray Gupta’s On Life and Enlightenment- a 5 part documentary series featuring the Dalai Lama, Antara Bharadwaj’s Telling Lies- a thriller starring Melanie Brown, Jason Flemming, Manish Gupta’s Karma Confessions and Holi- a drama featuring Sushmita Sen, Naomi Campbell and Drena Deniro and Pankaj Advani’s Cape Karma- a surreal thriller starring Audrey Woodhouse.
The documentary series featuring the Dalai Lama was a clear winner. It was sold to major territories such as Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Sri Lanka. Negotiations are on with Brazil, UK, France, Italy, Japan and major TV broadcasters and studios for the North American Television rights. Karma Confessions… has been sold in the far eastern territories such as Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines, while Telling Lies and Cape Karma have also attracted buyers from similar territories.
