Yash Chopra heads Chandigarh Tourism Advisory Forum

Renowned Filmmaker Yash Chopra has been honoured with the position of chairman for the Chandigarh Tourism Advisory Forum by the Chandigarh administration. The forum is mainly set up to promote Chandigarh as a destination for film making, medical tourism adventure tourism etc. Apart from Mr. Chopra other film personalities on the forum include Raj Babbar, Anupam Kher and Jaspal Bhatti.
The forum meetings will be held once in every six months. The advisory forum would also advise regarding the Multimedia-cum-Film City which is to be set up at Sarangpur. They will also discuss the possibility of setting up a school for filmmaking, TV serial making and acting.
