Don is the flavour of the festive season

Shahrukh Khan’s Don has become the flavour of the festive season. Not only are the audiences rushing to the cinema halls in multitudes in the Diwali vacation but also exchanging season’s greetings in the trademark Don style.
Just for instance the SMS that people are sending each other to wish Happy Diwali this year is essentially derived from Don’s punchlines. One of it goes like

These SMS make it quite evident that the Don hangover prevails in the audiences mind in a huge way. On the trade front Don is doing exceptionally well at the box-office. Word is out that Don has already recovered its money in all territories and is by now doing ‘Overflow’ business. Post Eid, the business of the film will only increase.
At such a rapid recovery rate, this is a record of sorts for a Hindi film.
