Where is Johny Gadar?

Recently there was speculation that director Sriram Raghavan’s Johny Gadar was finding it difficult to see light of day mainly because there were no takers. We spoke to the director who had earlier made the film Ek Haseena Thi who clarified the fact. “I am currently in talks with Adlabs. 80% of the film is complete. Now since the producers have changed there is a whole legal process going on and lots of paper work to be sorted out. There is the issue of Jhamu Sughand’s debts as well. So talks are on and I will clarify the status of the film very soon.”
Apart from Johny Gadar, Sriram will be starting Gaurang Doshi’s film tentatively titled Happy Birthday.
His brother Sridhar Raghavan (writer of Khakee, Deewar, Family, etc. ) will also be writing a script for him to direct. ‘The process hasn’t started yet but we will work on it soon.”
