Adaptations of popular novels into films is becoming a trend in Bollywood these days. We have seen many famous old novels being made into films. But something unique that is to happen is the adaptation of contemporary writing. For long there was a buzz in the industry that Chetan Bhagat’s book ‘One Night at the Call Centre’ was going to be made into a film by Rohan Sippy. Also, it was said that Abhishek Bachchan might star in the film. However, the latest news is that the film is now going to be made by Atul Agnihotri.

Says Rohan Sippy that he was going to produce the film but couldn’t find a right director. Till then, Atul Agnihotri who read the book showed interest in making the film and contacted the author, Chetan Bhagat. Besides, it seems that money has also played an important part in the change of producers. Reportedly, Bhagat has got a handsome amount from Agnihotri.

Talking about the film, Atul Agnihotri agrees that brother-in-law Salman Khan will definitely be the part of the project. He says that Salman will play the man the characters meet on the train. The rest of the cast is yet to be finalized but most of the actors will be in their early twenties.
