Akshay dedicates devotional song to blast victims

These days singing has become a second option for the actors. Akshay Kumar is the latest addition in this new league. Akshay Kumar is known for his religious belief that compelled him to sing a devotional song for a Punjabi album called Nirgun Raakh Liya, shot near the golden temple in Amritsar.
However, this devotional track has been dedicated to the recent bomb blasts that happened in Mumbai. Says Akshay, “This album is close to my heart for obvious reasons. It was always at the back of my mind to sing a devotional song. This is a realization of my heart felt desire. I would like to dedicate this video to all those who lost their lives that fateful day. It’s quite sad when something like this happens.
Trust me, No religion preaches violence... so spread the word, keep the faith."
Apart from singing, Akshay also features in the video.
