Aamir’s next production will launch his nephew

After Lagaan, the next film coming from Aamir Khan Productions is Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. The film will launch Aamir's nephew, Imraan. It will also mark the directorial debut of Abbas Tyrewala, who has the writing credits for films like Munnabhai MBBS, Maqbool, and Main Hoon Na.
The film was initially going to be produced by Jhamu Sughand. But due to financial reasons Jhammu allowed Tyrewala to go ahead with some other producer. That is when Aamir Khan came into picture.
Before signing the film, Aamir’s nephew had told him the story which Aamir liked. He in fact, even told Imraan that if any problem hits in the making, he is interested in the film script. Hence, after Jhammu, Tyrewala narrated the script to Aamir Khan and he agreed to produce the film which goes on floor this October.
The film is a romantic comedy about college students. It will have all-new starcast but will also have cameos by actors like Naseeruddin Shah, his wife Ratna Pathak, Arshad Warsi and Arbaaz Khan.
