Rohit Shetty’s biggie

With GOLMAAL – FUN UNLIMITED slated for July 14 release, Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd. has decided to repeat director Rohit Shetty for yet another project. Like GOLMAAL, the new film will also boast of a mammoth star cast: Govinda, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Sharman Joshi and Paresh Rawal. “We are keen to cast Nana Patekar in a pivotal role, but haven’t met him yet,” Rohit divulges.
What’s the genre this time? “It’s an action-comedy. A complete entertainer,” he states. The film, not titled yet, will co-star three leading ladies, who are also under finalization.
That’s not all, Rohit has signed a few more prestigious projects. Besides the above-mentioned film, Rohit will direct an action-comedy for Ramesh Sippy [BLUFFMASTER!, TAXI NO. 9211], an action-comedy again for Shemaroo [written by Neeraj Vora] and an out-and-out action film for Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms Ltd. The director of ZAMEEN is sure flying high!
