By IndiaFM News Bureau, June 12, 2006 - 04:52 IST

Vipul Shah has roped in Hollywood cinematographer Peter Field to shoot his Rs. 30 crore venture, Namaste London which stars Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Upen Patel, and Rishi Kapoor. The Hollywood cinematographer has many big films to his credit which includes Troy, Tomb Raider, Tomorrow Never Dies and the latest controversial film The Da Vinci Code.

Vipul Shah got Field to shoot the film because he wants him to capture London in a way completely different from what is done in Hindi films before. For this, he allegedly has paid a hefty amount to the Hollywood man. Says Vipul, Namaste London is a very big project and he did not want to compromise on the cost.

Besides London, the film will also be shot in Punjab, Kerala and the Himalayas. The film goes on floor by July end and will be shot in England for nearly eight weeks.
