Madhur’s toughest film so far Click here to add this article to My Clips

Madhur Bhandarkar is working like never before. In fact, the director of acclaimed films such as CHANDNI BAR and PAGE 3 has already completed CORPORATE [slated for July 7 release] and is almost through with the shooting of his recently-launched film TRAFFIC SIGNAL.

“It’s another eye-opener from me,” Madhur tells me. He has been shooting non-stop at Karjat, near Mumbai. “It’s the toughest film of my career. The kind of research that’s gone into TRAFFIC SIGNAL is incredible. It was like going to school all over again. Of course, CHANDNI BAR, PAGE 3 and CORPORATE weren’t child’s play either, but TRAFFIC SIGNAL has exhausted me completely,” the proficient director adds.

Madhur is all praise for the lead man of TRAFFIC SIGNAL, Kunal Kemmu. “He’s a tremendous actor. And the level of performance that he is capable of is rare for a one-film-old actor,” he smiles. Meanwhile, Madhur has decided to take TRAFFIC SIGNAL to various international festivals before it hits the screens in India. Expect another path-breaking story from a capable storyteller!
