Koel Puri’s Breaking News

Koel Puri who was last seen in Rajat Kapoor’s Mixed Doubles has signed a new film titled Breaking News. The film will be directed by debutant Vishal Inamdar. According to Koel, the film is about sting operations and she plays a journalist. Koel says that is wasn’t a very difficult role to essay as she had been a journalist for three years before she embarked in acting.
The films also talks about the state of satellite television in India and to what lengths news channels will go boost their TRP ratings. However Koel does add that it has a humorous side as well.
Apart from her, the film stars Abhimanyu Singh, Vinay Apte, Harsh Chhaya and Swati Sen.
