Vikram is Aftab’s mouthpiece!

While Vikram Bhatt keeps changing his stand on whether Ankahee is based on his life or not, at least one thing has been confirmed. That he has dubbed for Aftab’s voice in the movie. It seems that Vikram felt that Aftab’s voice was not mature enough for the character. So the director decided to dub for the actor, himself. It might be recalled that Vikram had even dubbed for Aftab, way back, when they had worked on Kasoor.
Some other actors whose voices were dubbed in the recent past include Upel Patel in 36 China Town, Kim Sharma in Tom, Dick and Harry, Katrina Kaif in Humko Deewana kar Gaye and Koena Mitra in Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena.
