Eros Music acquires audio rights of Omkara and Umrao Jaan

After being a major player in overseas film distribution and the DVD market, Eros Multimedia is now launching its music company. Named Eros Music, the company has already acquired the music rights of Vishal Bharadwaj's Omkara and J.P.Dutta's Umrao Jaan. Both the movies are two of the most eagerly awaited movies of 2006.
Umrao Jaan starring Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan has music by Anu Malik. Anu Malik’s daughter has sung a song in the film. Omkara has music by director Vishal Bharadwaj himself who has even sung a song for the first time.
