Sharman Joshi walks out of Dhamaal

Sharman Joshi who was last seen in Rang de Basanti as the comic Sukhi has apparently walked out of Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria’s Dhamaal days before the shooting was to commence. The grapevine was that he took this decision because of the debacle of Indra Kumar’s Pyare Mohan at the box-office. However, Sharman maintains that the reason for him to walk out was that he did not want to do any more comedies after Shaadi No. 1 and Golmaal as he felt that he needed to explore himself as an actor in other genres as well. He rubbished the Pyare Mohan rumors and said that Indra Kumar is a senior and established director and that cannot be the reason of his walking out.
We may recall that Sharman made his debut in Vinay Shukla’s Godmother but got noticed in the surprise hit Style which was a comedy film. Well, we sure hope that Sharman knows what he is doing!
Dhamaal stars Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Sohail Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani.
