A book on the making of Omkara to be released at Cannes

Vishal Bharadwaj’s Omkara is one of the biggest Indian films to go to the Cannes Film Festival this year. The major cast of the film including Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan, Viviek Oberoi, Bipasha Basu along with director Vishal Bharadwaj and producer Kumar Mangat will be reaching Cannes by May 19.
The main function in Cannes in connection with Omkara is on May 20, one in the afternoon and other at night. On this day, a coffee table book on the making of the film will also be launched. Post the book launch, there will be a Press Conference on the film with the International Media including Variety and Screen international on the boat on the Palais. Indian media will be represented by Star News, CNN, NDTV and India Today.
The evening will see a cocktail party organized by Eros International. It will be more of a mid-night party on the Nikki beach.
