Gurinder Chadha teams up with John Travolta, J Lo

Even though her recent home production, The Mistress of Spices, turned out to be rather bland, Gurinder Chadha is undeterred. In fact, she is taking up a brand new project, Dallas which she will be directing. It is the big screen adaptation of the hit TV series of the same name. She will be directing none other than John Travolta and Jennifer Lopez, in the film. Dallas happens to be the longest running American TV Series, ever. Started in 1978, it was on air for 13 years. It is based on the Ewing family, living in Texas. In her preparation, Chadha is trying to learn all that she can about the Texans.
She is quite excited about directing Travolta and Lopez. In fact, Travolta is a fan of her past work. The film also stars Luke Wilson and Shirley MacLaine. Other actors are yet to be finalized.
