Akshay Kumar goes Punjabi
By IndiaFM News Bureau, April 4, 2006 - 05:34 IST
Akshay Kumar is said to have given a brilliant interview to the BBC Asian Network on life in general and his forthcoming film Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, being distributed internationally by UTV. What makes the interview unique, one may ask? It's the first time that he's done an interview for an overseas radio station in chaste Punjabi with Sarbjit Lotay of the Asian Network.
We can't recall Akki having spoken to even an Indian radio or television channel in his mother tongue! Considering Akshay's enormous fan following overseas, we're sure the Punjabis (especially) will be in for a treat listening to it this Friday on Neelu Khalsi's popular Punjabi show (between 7.30 pm and 10 pm GMT).
Stay tuned and we will get you the audio of the entire interview of Akshay Kumar speaking in Punjabi, on Saturday morning.
