Get set ready to play with Shahrukh!

Rumors that the Shimit Amin – Shahrukh Khan film produced by Yash Raj Films has been shelved can take rest now. The film is very much on and Shimit is currently busy with its pre-production work.
But this time Amin will not be directing an action flick. The film is based on the sport of hockey. Inspired by Gurinder Chaddha’s Bend it like Bekham this film will have Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. He will portray the role of coach of a girls hockey team. The film is scripted by Jaideep Sahni (who has earlier written films like Bunty Aur Babli, Company and Jungle) and is scheduled to start from mid-2006.
The casting director Abhimanyu is looking out for fresh faces for the hockey team. He explained that auditions have been done and they have zeroed in on a few names. All the selected girls will have to undergo a thorough, two-month training workshop on hockey.
So girls don’t miss the opportunity to play, rather get trained by a cool coach called Shah Rukh!
