Celebrities who fail to make a mark on the big screen often turn towards the small screen that gives them the much-needed second chance. And many of them do enjoy their stardom on the small screen. Following the bandwagon former Miss World Yukta Mookhey has decided to make her television debut with director Rakesh Chowdharys forthcoming serial Gruhadaah. Based on Sarat Chandra Chatterjee's novel of the same name, Gruhadaah will have actor Rajesh Kumar (known for his funny character of Rosesh in Star Ones Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai) and Yukta as lead characters.
Speaking about the storyline, director Chowdhary explained that the serial revolves around two men and a woman from the early 20th century. The look and feel of the serial will reflect that time. He also informed that the pilot episode will begin tomorrow and though the serial is set in West Bengal, they will shoot it in Mumbai itself.
