Abhishek Bachchan backs out of Zee Cine Awards

Abhishek Bachchan fans are in for a disappointment. The heart throb who was supposed to perform at the Zee Cine awards in Mauritius has cancelled the trip. The reason being that he is down with the viral flu. The entire Bachchan clan was looking forward to the act. In fact they were all supposed to fly to Mauritius to watch him perform live. But Abhishek’s doctors have forbidden him from traveling.
If Abhishek wins an award, Rani Mukherji or Sanjay Leela Bhansali will collect it. In the meantime, dad Amitabh Bachchan is well on his road to recovery after his illness. He is all set to get back to work. The projects which are yet to be completed include Karan Johar’s Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Ravi Chopra’s Babul and his make up man’s Bhojpuri film. Talks are on with film makers like Deepa Mehta and Rakeysh Mehra for new projects.
