Ashutosh and Sunita Gowarikar invited to the Oscars

Ashutosh Gowarikar and his wife Sunita have been invited to attend the 78th Annual Academy Awards Presentation at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. Unfortunately, it was beaten in the race by Bosnia's No Man's Land. The grand ceremony will be held on Sunday and will be telecast live. It will be hosted by Jon Stewart. Gowarikar will leave for LA on February 27th and will be there till March 10th.

Gowarikar has no nomination this year, though his film Lagaan was nominated in the Best Foreign Film Category in 2002.
