The ‘Qurbani’ team

Has Fardeen Khan’s marriage to Natasha brought him luck and changed his fortunes for better? That’s what one would assume considering the fact that Khan Jr. has signed a number of A-list projects in the last few weeks.
In a span of few weeks, Fardeen has bagged P.N.C.’s HONEYMOON [dir.: Meghna Gulzar], Ambika Hinduja’s IDHAR UDHAR [with Ritesh; dir.: Kunal], Shyam [AKSAR] Bajaj’s next project, Sajid Nadiadwala’s film [with Akshay, Ritesh; dir.: Sajid Khan], Tips’ new film [with Anil Kapoor, Saif; dir.: Abbas-Mustan] and P.N.C.’s yet another film [dir.: Vikram Bhatt].
But the project that’s bound to create waves is Feroz Khan’s remake of the smash hit QURBANI. Khan Sr. has cast son Fardeen in the QURBANI remake that he’s planning to start soon. While Fardeen will essay the role that F.K. Sr. had enacted in the original, Saif Ali Khan has been cast in the role that Vinod Khanna had essayed.
As for Zeenat Aman’s part, Khan Sr. has approached Priyanka Chopra for it, but the modalities are being worked out. The role of the fourth important character in QURBANI, Amjad Khan, will be enacted by Feroz Khan himself.
