John opts out of Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.

John Abraham is no more a part of Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd., which is a joint production of Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. John had to opt out due to date problems.
Currently shooting in Gujarat John said, “Yes, there is an issue with dates. With Babul’s schedule going haywire, I am adjusting my dates; the dates of other films, too, have been pushed back. Right now, my first and only priority is Babul.”
The movie is a directorial debut of Reema Kagti, who used to assist Farhan Akhtar. Speaking on the same, Ritesh Sidhwani said, “There was never any contractual commitment with John. He was never the lead actor, as the story consists of an ensemble cast of 12 actors. We are not upset, as nothing had been finalized. We were only in talks with John. As for opting out at the last moment, that’s something you will have to ask John.”
According to Ritesh, actors who have signed for the project includes Ameesha Patel, Shilpa Shetty, Minissha Lamba, Abhay Deol, Kay Kay Menon, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Shourie, Sandhya Mridul and Boman Irani.
