Aamir Khan sweeps North America!

UTV's "Rang De Basanti" has connected with the audiences of North America in a big way. "I have never ever witnessed such crowds at my theatre," says Shariq Hamid, CEO Funasia Dallas. RDB has been watched by approximately 90,000 people on 61 screens, a record for an Indian movie in terms of average per screen for a 3-day weekend. "So many people are coming for RDB and coming back for the next show," says Shiraz Jivani, who owns Naz 8 Cinemas in California. Police was summoned at the Cineplaza Theatre in New Jersey to control serpentine queues running deep into its parking lot.
