Aadesh Shrivastava is fuming over plagiarism Click here to add this article to My Clips

By IndiaFM News Bureau, January 25, 2006 - 01:20 IST

For as long as Bollywood exists, so will plagiarism! The latest victim of the copycats is Aadesh Shrivastava who is accusing director Raj Kanwar, composer Anu Malik and lyricist Sameer of lifting his tune for their film Humko Deewana Kar Gaye. Shrivastava alleges that he had composed the song way back in 2002 for Vashu Bhagnani's Deewanapan. But Bhagnani didn't use the song as he felt it was too dreamy. The lyrics of the song are something like this… Tum nahin aate to achcha tha/Aake nahin jaate to achcha tha. According to Shrivastava these lyrics were actually penned by Anand Bakshi. He is shocked that they could lift the song so openly. Kanwar on the other hand, justifies his stand by stating that two creative minds can think alike. However, Aadesh Shrivastava does not want to hear any of it and plans to take legal action.
