Shaad Ali's shaadi

The maker of Saathiya and Bunty Aur Babli will finally get hitched to his longtime girlfriend Shazmeen. The wedding is scheduled on the 28th of this month. Shazneen also happens to be a Lakhnavi like Shaad. She is the granddaughter of the late general Habibullah and the daughter of Ishaq Husain, a senior director at Tata.
The wedding preparations kick start on Jan 26, ending with the nikaah and the reception on the 28th. A sneak peek into the wedding card reveals that it is designed by none other than Shaad's father, Muzzafar Ali who also happens to be a great filmmaker himself.
Confirmed to attend the gala are Abhishek Bachchan, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi and Yash Chopra.
Talking about weddings, the other high profile shaadi making the news is of Rishi and Neetu Kapoor's beautiful daughter Riddhima Kapoor. The groom in question is Delhi based Bharat Sahni. A grand wedding in Mumbai will be followed by an equally grand reception at Delhi on Jan 28.
