Dino’s time starts now

Dino Morea has been lying low for quite some time now. But he’s all set to bounce back with three films and -- you could call this a coincidence -- the films in question will be spread over three consecutive weeks. AKSAR is slated for February 3 release, followed by HOLIDAY on February 10 [Valentine’s Day] and FIGHT CLUB on February 17. “I am nervous,” Dino laughs.
On a more serious note, the model turned actor adds, “I’ve been recharging my batteries all this while. I didn’t want to take up any and every project that came my way. You don’t get very many chances here, do you?”
However, Dino is sure to startle you with his performance in HOLIDAY. Known for his good looks till now, people are bound to talk about his acting skills and, hold your breath, his dancing abilities after they’ve watched this Pooja Bhatt-directed film. Enacting the role of a dance instructor in HOLIDAY, Dino not only surprises you with a sincere performance, but also proves that he’s a proficient dancer as well. The two dances -- minutes before the interval and towards the climax -- are not to be missed.
There’s more on Dino’s plate! The actor has just bagged a pivotal role in Dharmesh Darshan’s new project [produced by Venus], which co-stars Akshaye Khanna, Priyanka Chopra, Amisha Patel and Suniel Shetty. “It’s an amazing script… and an equally wonderful role,” he sounds elated. Also, there’s a project with Vikram Bhatt in the offing. 2006 could well prove to be a turning point in Dino’s career.
