The biggest tax payers of Bollywood…

Its no secret that our top Bollywood actors practically mint money with every thing that they do. And they proved that they are law abiding citizens as well, by paying the income tax due on these big bucks, this year. So lets have a look at who coughed up how much.
Amitabh Bachchan
He emerged as the undisputed leader by paying an exorbitant Rs. 6.35 crore on earnings of Rs.19 crore.
Shah Rukh Khan
The King Khan made a cool Rs.18 crore in 2004-’05, out of which he shelled out Rs.6.30 crore as taxes.
Aishwarya Rai
Surprisingly, at No.3, it was no Khan but the Queen Bee, Aishwarya Rai. Her taxes amounted to Rs.4.95 crore on earnings of Rs.15.30 crore.
Hrithik Roshan
Coming a close 4th place was Hrithik Roshan who paid Rs.3.20 crore on an income of Rs.9.6 crore. This too, without having any releases in the past year.
Aamir Khan
Although extremely picky about his films, Aamir Khan, still earned Rs, 9.20 crore out of which Rs.3 crore was paid as tax.
Saif Ali Khan
The third Khan to be a part of this list was not Salman Khan but Saif Ali Khan. His metrosexual roles earned him a whopping Rs.7.38 crore. His contribution to the I T Department was 2.21 crores.
And after reading about these hefty pay packets, all we can say is that it sure pays to be a Bollywood star!
