Priyadarshan is one of the busiest directors around. In fact, there’s always a queue of producers ready to sign the talented director all year round.
Priyan, who is riding high after the success of GARAM MASALA [KYON KI… is a closed chapter], is all set to direct Popcorn and Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision’s joint venture, which will star Akshay Kumar and Govinda in lead roles. The third hero [is it Suniel Shetty?] is under finalization. Also signed are Lara Dutta and Sameera Reddy.
Is it a remake? “Partly,” Dhaval Jatania of Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision confirms, “Part remake, part original.” The film, not titled yet, is expected to take off on March 1.
