Yash Chopra honored at P.I.F.F.

The 4th Pune International Film Festival 2006 [P.I.F.F.] held in Pune bestowed its Lifetime Achievement Award on Yash Chopra, recognizing his towering contributions made to film production and direction. Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor, who has appeared in many Yash Chopra films, handed over this award to the veteran film-maker.
The presentation was preceded by a short film based on Yash Chopra’s works, from DHOOL KA PHOOL to SILSILA. The other recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award were actress Vyjayantimala and Hollywood cinematographer Victor Kemper.
