Yash Chopra honored at Punjabi Pravasi Divas 2006

Yash Chopra was honored with the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Punjabi Pravasi Divas 2006 for his commendable contribution to the film and entertainment industry and for bringing laurels to the land of his birth – Punjab.
The Govt. of Punjab, Chandigarh Administration and I.P.C.S.I. [International Punjabi Chamber for Service Industry] jointly organized the Punjabi Pravasi Divas and International convention of Non-Resident Indians and Indian Corporate, which was held on January 14and 15 at Hotel Mount View, Chandigarh.
Besides Yash Chopra, the other eminent personalities who were honored were Dharmendra, Raj Babbar, Hans Raj Hans, Gurdas Mann, Harbhajan Mann and Mangal Dhillon.
