Shahrukh Khan spends time with cancer patients

Shahrukh Khan was in Calcutta recently. And the actor spent time with the patients in the cancer ward of AMRU hospital. One of the patients was a little girl named Meghna Ghosh who was diagnosed with cancer when she was two. Her family was visibly moved. Shahrukh Khan had only kind words for the patients. The actor is all the more forthcoming for the cause of cancer because he lost his own father to the disease. In fact, he wants to start a special ward for cancer patients in Mumbai's Nanavati hospital. His visit to Calcutta caused a frenzy among his fans. The roads were lined with people waiting to just catch a glimpse of him.
