The 14th IIFA awards held at Macau was certainly a star studded event. It was a parade of fashionable wardrobes. Out of which we picked out our favorites! Take a look.
Parineeti Chopra
For the IIFA Awards night, it was a Nikhil Thampi classic black belted gown for Parineeti with a thigh high slit. While she accessorized it with Suhani Pittie earrings, Eina Ahluwalia cuff and a Curio Cottage ring, the hair was knotted into a relaxed up do and her dauntless make-up made up for the lack of boldness in the gown.
The monotony of the black was broken by a pop of red on the pout and the pumps. All in all, it was killer look and our favorite!
Even though we are tired of spotting blacks everywhere, Neha Dhupia's Atsu attire was unusual. And by unusual we mean unique. She brought newness to the Green carpet. While we are not a fan of OTT blacks and prefer divas to bring bright colors to the carpet, we are still happy to see Neha getting out of her comfort zone and experimenting. Even though the white collars make her look sort of a professor, we love the way they contrast the darkness of the gown.
An up do, smokey eyes and a Bottega Veneta clutch rounded off her sassy look.
Gauahar Khan made a sizzling appearance at the Green carpet in a mustard hue Narendra Kumar gown. The fit was good, the color was something new and the plunging neckline was not exposing!
She finished off her look with red lips, side-swept tousled wavy hair and silver accessories. A suave look, yet it could have been better if she would ditch the red pout.
Deepika gave us a feel of disco and drama on the Green Carpet in her Naeem Khan ensemble consisting of a crystal embedded bolero jacket and a black wrap around skirt with leggings underneath. Sky-high Louboutins, oxblood lips and a pompadour pony wrapped up her dark look.
While she resembles a gothic, it's not scary; in fact it is one of the few dark looks we loved.
Anushka looked gorgeous in her white Roberto Cavalli floor-sweeping gown featuring a beaded back, which was not quite visible due to the hair left open. And what lifts up the charm of this look, is the simplicity of it. While we're at it, there's a big difference between being simple and mundane, but this one surely goes in the rack of simplicity.
We loved the bubbly diva in this magnificent piece. It's as though, it was made just for her. And she did manage to pull it off!
