The renowned studio was entrusted by Cutting Edge Films, the production house to create the realistic Robot which plays a vital role along with Katrina in the television commercial. VCL also needed to create the CGI to help demonstrate the functioning of the 'eco navi' technology which helps the air conditioner sense the level of activity and detecting human presence.

The commercial was shot at a studio in Film City - Mumbai, and to make the set look like an apartment was on the 20th floor, chroma backgrounds were added through the window, which were replaced later on with live action footage. - Vishal Anand from VCL said that Panasonic was very keen about the look of the robot; they required it to look extremely real and be a part of the environment.
