Time and again we keep reading reports about an actor or an actress not being pleased with his/her costumes and asking for the new ones. This is what happens in Luck By Chance too where Dimple Kapadia is shown to be throwing a fit over the choice of costumes for her daughter Isha Sharwani. While Rishi Kapoor, the producer, frets and fumes, he also accuses Manish Malhotra, the dress designer of the film, to be a part of the 'entire racket', just in order to increase his bill and sell his costumes. Of course, all that Manish does says is 'No Sir, it isn't like that', though one can definitely smell something fishy!
Anurag Kashyap
Playing a frustrated writer, Anurag Kashyap is exceptional in Luck By Chance. Someone who is ridiculed as an 'Institute' when he tries to write something that defies the Bollywood cliches, Anurag is shown as a writer who is forced to do DVD rip offs and not complain when changes are asked to be made. Worse, he is also shown to be a script reader and teacher who is driven nuts when the actors fail to catch the finer nuances of the dialogues. The expression on his face, when he changes the word from 'khoon' to 'murder', can't be forgotten!
Karan Johar
Ever so witty, bitchy and a brat, Karan Johar brings on the smiles during his conversation with Hrithik Roshan. Though it was his film that made Hrithik leave Rishi Kapoor's film, only to pave way for another rising star Farhan Akhtar, he doesn't hesitate in coming up with some of his own catty gyaan! With a wink, he educates Hrithik around how newer heroes come in when older ones refuse to be a part of a risky project. Something that holds true for Luck By Chance as well because Farhan Akhtar himself was roped in for a role only after other established actors refused to be a part of it. Result? Farhan has been truly acknowledged as an actor now, especially so after Rock On put a strong foundation for him in Bollywood!
